Scripture:
"For we walk by faith, not by sight." – 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV)
Devotional Thought:
Life often presents us with situations that don’t make sense. There are times when what we see in front of us doesn’t align with what we’ve been praying for. It can be tempting to let fear and doubt take control when the outcome isn’t clear. However, God calls us to walk by faith, trusting Him even when we don’t fully understand His plan.
2 Corinthians 5:7 reminds us that faith isn’t about seeing the full picture. Faith is about believing that God is in control, even when life seems uncertain or confusing. Just as Abraham trusted God when He told him to leave his home without knowing the destination, we too must trust God’s direction, even when the path isn’t clear.
Today, focus on walking by faith. Let go of the need to see every step ahead and trust that God is guiding you. His vision for your life is far greater than what you can see.
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to walk by faith and not by what I see. Help me to trust You, even when I don’t understand the path ahead. Remind me that You are faithful, and that You are working out Your perfect plan in my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Action Step:
Reflect on an area where you’ve been relying too much on your own understanding. Ask God to help you release control and trust His guidance. Take one small step of faith today, believing that God is leading the way.
