Scripture:
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.” – James 1:12 (NIV)

Devotional Thought:
Perseverance is often tested in the hardest seasons of life. When challenges arise, it’s easy to feel like giving up, but James 1:12 reminds us that there is a blessing in persevering through trials. The crown of life is promised to those who stand firm, trusting in God’s strength through the difficulties.

God never promises that life will be free of trials, but He does promise that we won’t go through them alone. When we persevere, we not only grow stronger in faith, but we also experience God’s presence in a deeper way. Trials refine us, build our character, and prepare us for the blessings that God has in store.

Today, if you find yourself in a challenging season, remember that God sees your struggle in and is with you. Keep pressing forward, knowing that your perseverance is leading to a greater reward.

Prayer:
